I’ve been making injection mould tools for Precious Plastic and micro factory setups for several years now, and one thing I keep finding is that most customers dont want to put a recycling symbol into their moulds, as they aren’t 100% sure what type of plastic they will end up using in the long run.
I have a recycled plastic keychain that I bought, it’s marked #5 PP however it’s made from LDPE – which is a real shame because it might get melted down with some PP in the future, and create problems.
This stamp set aims to combat that, by letting you easily mark your plastic products with recycling plastic symbols. The set includes types #1, #2, #4 and #5, as well as a temperature controlled heating setup to dial in the perfect temp for you, and allow fast and consistent marking of your products.
